Inspired by the loose, observational quality of John Muir’s field sketches, Shawn created a series of pen-and-ink illustrations capturing the natural beauty and distinctive landscapes of Yosemite.

Drawn by hand using ink on paper, the illustrations were incorporated into the cover design for John Muir’s Grand Yosemite: Musings and Sketches, bringing together illustration, history, and a shared appreciation for the natural landscape.
